What so special on this edition :
They re-evaluated every single enemy in the game. Like changing a little bit on movement speeds and hit boxes, while others have received entirely new ability sets. Some enemies have been removed and adding a new different one. They are also give every enemy called “family” such as mummies, skeletons etc., a new lower-tier spawner that only spawns the basic units of that “family.” This means there are no longer limited “all or nothing” options when pacing the game.
Gameplay is also change espescially on fighting bosses, in slayer edition, Fighting bosses is not as easy as previous Gauntlet. Need an extra technique or we can say skilled player to beat them, because no more lazy bosses that easy to beat with less strategy and action. Bosses more wild and strong so they are hard to defeat than before.
Horde of enemies spread around is exactly the same on Gauntlet but they will thinking about it so players won't bored just slaying too many enemies and look like endless hunting. Even for some players it's good but they began to change this, well we will see about it.
