Crowfall is a seamless blend of a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) and a large-scale game of territorial conquest. Players take the roles of knights and villains, kings and queens, all vying for control of a virtual throne. Many Pre-Alpha testers have already started, with invitations for almost a thousand more backers expected in the next few weeks. The company made a surprise announcement, revealing that the module also includes a Player-versus-Player game mode known as The Hunger Dome.
Crowfall is unique in three ways: It’s about Time, Destruction and Power.
Their kickstarter campaign was successful! Crowfall raised $1,766,204 from 16,936 backers -- making this game the 15th biggest video game, and 47th largest kickstarter project overall.
